Experimental site B showed maximum mean pocket depth reduction of 4.1 ± 0.24 mm and 5.3 ± 0.28 mm at three and six months from baseline compared to the mean pocket depth reduction at experimental site A (3.40 ± 0.085 mm and 4.0 ± 0.34 mm) with a mean difference of 0.70 ± 0.05 mm at three months ( P = 0.040) and 1.30 ± 0.18 mm at six months ( P = 0.001), which was highly significant.
