As the demographics, pathophysiology, treatment, and treatment outcomes of HPV-positive OPSCC differ largely from those of traditional head and neck cancer patients, the findings of this study further contribute to our understanding of this highly significant and common adverse effect of cisplatin CRT in a growing group of cancer survivors.
