A decreasing trend was observed in clustering coefficients in both period 2 and period 3, revealing an evolution pattern of the knowledge network towards lower integration and clustering (as shown in Fig. 1 ), which may be due to the expansion of knowledge fields involved and the growing importance of interdisciplinary research.
