For the annual mean precipitation, during the entire prediction period (2010–2099), the forest region of Northeast China showed an increasing trend in almost all areas under the three distinct climate warming scenarios (RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP8.5), except in the southern part of the CBM, where precipitation decreased significantly relative to the baseline period ( Figure 4 ).
