There was a nonsignificant trend for chicks in the incubation-call treatment to be more likely to hop onto enclosure walls than those from the incubation-control treatment to hop onto enclosure walls (GLMM: χ 2 = 3.42, d.f. = 1, p = 0.06; figure 5 c ).
