Figure 4 provides a time-series overall prevalence of MHO according to the sample collection years which suggests an increasing trend from 2018 to 2023 in both definitions. 3.5 Age-adjusted prevalence of MHO The prevalence of MHO in the study samples was adjusted with the age and sex-specific proportions from the national population statistics mentioned in the data analysis section and the resulting age and sex-adjusted prevalence was reported in Table 5 .
