From Fig 4 , it can be seen that with the increase of compaction degree, the absolute expansion rate of the specimen is generally into an increasing trend, with P: T = 1:4, seven wet-dry cycles, for example, when the compaction degree of the specimen is increased from 90% to 96%, its absolute expansion rate is increased from 10.8% to 17.2%, an increase of 59.3%.
