In our study we set out to explore how manipulating the number of males present in a mating arena (1 or 2) and the relative size (large or small) of said arena, influenced reproductive behaviour and subsequent offspring production. While mating rate did exhibit a marginally significant interaction between the number of males and the chamber size treatments (Table 1a), post-hoc comparative tests did not reveal any significant differences between pairs of treatment combinations.
