As the CNF content increased, the friction coefficients showed a decreasing trend: 0.171 for 0% CNF, 0.101 for 0.3% CNF, 0.085 for 0.6% CNF, and 0.075 for 0.9% CNF, which indicated that the PVA/CNF hydrogels showed better lubrication and load-bearing capacity compared to the pure PVA hydrogels.
