The analysis of body size using microscopy shown in Figure 2 demonstrated an overall trend that OK411 C. elegans lacking the cat-1 protein have significantly shorter body lengths than wild-type N2 C. elegans throughout development and persisting into fully developed adulthood stages ( Figures 2 , 3 ).
