The ketone β-hydroxybutyric acid (β-OHB) showed a decreasing trend from BL to below our limit of detection after 4 h of perfusion. β-OHB was not included as a top hit as it was just beyond our 80% zero-filter criteria where it was present in only 78% samples at a single time point.
