An increasing trend of dengue burden has also been observed in Bangladesh, and recently, the dengue outbreak has increased many folds, which could be impacted by ineffective vector-control strategies, climate change, high population densities, and unplanned rapid urbanization and construction ( Gubler, 2011 ; Lindsay et al., 2017 ; Kolimenakis et al., 2021 ; Gibb et al., 2023 ; Kayesh et al., 2023a ).
