Employing Marcus-Hush-Chidsey (MHC) formalism and Born model, we revealed that the HER exchange current density decreased, while the reorganization energy and the interfacial dielectric constant increased with an increasing trend of alkali metal cation from Li + to Cs + (Figs. 4d–f , Supplementary Fig. 15 and Supplementary Text 5 ).
