The GC content of the first, second, and third codon sites, represented by GC1, GC2, and GC3, respectively, was less than 50% and showed a decreasing trend of GC1 > GC2 > GC3, further indicating that the chloroplast genomes were rich in A/T bases (Table S6 ).
