When comparing pre-pandemic (2017) with post-pandemic (2021) EARS-Net data [ 19 ], an increasing trend of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) was noticed, especially for K. pneumoniae and A. baumannii , not only in Romania, but also in other southern and eastern parts of the European Region.
