In addition, we assessed for an overall trend of increased PW frequency across ordered, evenly distributed terciles of opioid withdrawal severity before receiving buprenorphine (COWS score of 8-10, 11-13, and ≥14) and urine fentanyl concentration (0 to <20, 20 to <200, and ≥200 ng/mL) using the Cochran-Armitage test of trend.
