It has been reported that ITP was sometimes clinically associated with thrombosis [ 55 , 56 ]; although our findings showed a poor correlation between plasma sCLEC-2 levels and platelet count, sCLEC-2 elevation may not be significant in thrombocytopenia due to ITP.
