Compared to the period of 1994–2008, we observed a prominent shift in the etiological distribution of BSIs during 2010–2020, with a declining trend of HIV-associated pathogens such as Talaromyces marneffei and Salmonella enterica and an increasing trend of Gram-negative pathogens such as E. coli and K. pneumoniae .
