The research personnel showed a marginally significant preference for the use of HCTs to develop vaccines, relative to knowledge generation (Treatments—Vaccines = .40, c = 27.6%, Treatments–Knowledge = .60, c = 35.0%, Vaccines–Knowledge = .69, c = 4.25%), though it should be noted this difference was not expected a priori and is close to the 5% significance threshold.
