However, with a further increase of the reaction temperature from 110 to 120 °C, the isolated yields of polyyne 7 showed a decreasing trend, which could be ascribed to the low stability of terminal alkyne 5 and/or related reaction intermediates at high temperature (entries 4 and 5).
