In the first months of the pandemic, significant peaks in contagion cases were observed due to the rapid spread of the virus and the lack of effective control measures, with an increasing trend from March to October 2020. 193 infected people were registered in March, while in October, there was an increase of 90.5% in seven months, reaching a total of 17,662 infected people.
