Along with the CaCl 2 % increasing from 0.6% to 1.5%, a decreasing trend of breaking strength and Young's modulus was observed ( Figure 2 a ), which should be caused by the concentration change of Ca 2+ ‐based “egg‐box” sites between polysaccharide chains.
