In general, there was an increasing trend in gender, age, and education disparities for both practicing some leisure-time PA (gender gaps of -14.2 in the first wave and − 18.8 in the second wave) and ≥ 150 min/week (gender gaps of -10.2 in the first wave and − 14.0 in the second wave) over time, with men, younger adults, and people with higher education presenting higher prevalence.
