Gender transparent languages: Italian and Spanish One must be cautious when drawing conclusions about some of the studies presented here, since they may suffer from insufficient statistical power: Results are often conflicting, marginally significant, or significant by participants but not by items, suggesting a need for replication (Brysbaert, 2019 ; Vasishth & Gelman, 2021 ).
