Although governments have put forward many interventions to improve the disease burden associated with high BMI over the past decade, the disease burden has shown an increasing trend in the low and middle SDI regions and the middle and high-middle SDI regions, such as Oceania, Central Asia, Eastern Europe had the highest ASR of all causes-related DALYs associated with high BMI [ 25 , 26 ].
