In line with this finding, higher risks of CSDH were seen for individuals with NSAID intake compared to non-users, but only for age group 50–64 years (HR 1.94, 95% CI 1.39–2.73). CSDH Risk Following Head Trauma Although the absolute risk of CSDH after a registered head trauma per above was very low (0.18%), head trauma was still a highly significant risk factor for CSDH development when stratifying the analyses for age (ie, comparing the risk of CSDH in cohort members in a certain age group with unexposed individuals in the same age group).
