The conditional indirect effects of alexithymia on the severity of problematic gambling behaviour were also explored at three levels of the moderator (-1 SD, mean, + 1 SD): the effect was significant with an increasing trend as the external locus of control levels increased (see Table 3 ; Fig. 2 ).
