The statistically borderline significant, but weak positive, correlation of TB counts in biopsy and in subsequent post-NAT resection specimens (Fig. 3 ) suggests that TB may not only be a morphological feature of tumor growth but also related to the intrinsic aggressive biological characteristics of the tumor.
