We found significant impacts of landrace and marginally significant effects of landrace × year interaction for both epiphyte and endophyte community richness, but a significant effect of sampling year only for endophytes (ANOVA, richness ~ landrace × year: for epiphytes, P landrace = 2.8 × 10 −9 , P year = 0.15, P landrace × year = 0.047; for endophytes, P landrace = 2.9 × 10 −5 , P year <2 × 10 −16 , P landrace × year = 0.05).
