In females, both the ASMR and ASDR of high BMI-related CRC exhibited a slightly increasing trend and gradually stabilized ( Table 4 ; Figures 8C , D ). 4 Discussion In recent years, due to dietary and metabolic factors, as well as unhealthy habits such as smoking and drinking, the global incidence, mortality, and DALYs rates of CRC have been increasing annually and are expected to exceed 2,200,000 new and 1,100,000 deaths by 2030 ( 1 , 4 , 26 ).
