Importantly, results were similar between our primary and secondary analyses for associations between MoCA total and RAVLT delayed recall scores and spindle frequency and %-fast; and although the associations between cognitive scores and spindle density and power were no longer significant, similar positive relationships were observed between spindle density and the MoCA total and DSC scores which just failed to reach statistical significance after correcting for the false discovery rate ( q = 0.079 and 0.076, respectively).
