a decreasing trendno p-value reported
Despite our finding of a decreasing trend in FP‐performed colonoscopies, our results still suggest a substantial increase in the share of FP‐performed colonoscopies from 2002, when FPs performed only 2% of colonoscopies in the United States. 35 However, the decreasing trend in our findings should give pause to policymakers as they consider the plausibility of FP‐performed colonoscopies as a long‐term solution to the supply‐side deficit of colonoscopists.
