According to our data, the Chao1 index showed a significant decrease in diversity between the control and treated groups P1 or P2 in the coecum and faecal samples ( Figure 3 B), and the Shannon index also showed a decreasing trend in the caecum and the faeces in the PVC groups ( Figure 3 A).
