There were no sex differences among patients whose resuscitation was not successful (although a slight trend in male sex was seen), also there were no age differences between subjects ( Table 1 ), but the population from rural areas was significantly younger than from urban areas [median age 65 (55–76) vs. 69 (60–80), p = 0.036].
