4.6 CCS The Copper Chaperone for Superoxide Dismutase (CCS) is responsible for the regulation of copper transportation to SOD1 within the cytoplasm and mitochondria [ 71 ], which exhibits a highly significant level of expression within breast cancer tissues and plays a role in facilitating the proliferation and migration of cancer cells [ 30 , 108 ].
