Discussion The main findings of this study were that TNFR2 was associated with higher mortality, but that TNFR1 showed borderline significant associations, and that neither TNFR1 nor TNFR2 was associated with eGFR decline in patients with CKD when adjusting also for baseline eGFR and urine-protein.
