The burden of PAHs is highly significant, with important hospital resources that are mobilized, and healthcare policies such as patient education programs, enhanced primary care access, and implication of updated guidelines to medical professionals are required to introduce effective evidence-based health measures to reverse this trend, at the regional and national levels.
