Rubella cases are followed by equivalently elevated CRS cases peaking after 8 and 9 months (r = 0.23 and 0.18), which is lower than the 95% confidence band (0.331); observing CRS cases 4 months before rubella peaks, there is also a positive trend (r = 0.31) which could be associated with seasonal differences.
