Lawrence has shown a decreasing trend over the last decade, especially in the deeper waters of the Gulf (i.e., the Laurentian Channel), having decreased from ~100–150 μM/kg in 1990s to ∼ 75–100 μM/kg in the early 2020s [ 19 ].
