Previous studies have noted that points with a sensitivity of less than 20 dB have less effect on the rate of visual field progression.[ 9 ] During the initial stages of glaucoma, the rate of progression correlates with glaucoma severity; however, for severe glaucoma, the rate of progression is low.[ 10 ] Due to the reduction in variability, even a change <5 dB may be significant for eyes with advanced glaucoma.[ 11 ] Point-wise linear regression (PLR) is analyzed based on individual threshold, total, and pattern deviation values.[ 12 ] PLR analyzes focal changes and underestimates diffuse change.
