Among AF patients without other evaluated diseases, a higher CVH score was generally linked with a reduced risk of death in both sexes, albeit a borderline significance was indicated among men after accounting for the potential impact of incident CHD (HR: 0.86, 95 % CI: 0.71–1.03).
