The DN group showed obvious weight loss based on 17-week of induced modelling DN, with rats exhibiting a decreasing trend in body weight in DN (419.00 ± 19.73 g) compared to Control (554.67 ± 29.77 g) ( Fig. 1 B), as previous studies reported [ 26 , 27 ].
