Whereas the disadvantaged group's need satisfaction and frustration were both significantly associated with both normative and non‐normative solidarity in Study 2, in Study 1 we found only the significant effect of perceived frustration of disadvantaged group needs on non‐normative actions, with a marginally significant effect of outgroup's perceived satisfaction on normative solidarity.
