Cells from Epi-C3 expressed marker genes of luminal HS, luminal AV and progenitor cells (reminiscent of a luminal HS-AV cluster in mice 7 , 18 ) and showed a decreasing trend with age (Fig. 3c–e ) but did not reach significance, possibly due to low cell numbers ( n = 97).
