7 ) revealed that the hotspots (> 95% Confidence) of salt dust were concentrated on the eastern and southwestern sides of the Aral Sea in patches, and the area of significant hotspot regions increased from 8.76 to 14.63% from 2003 to 2018, with the area of highly significant hotspots increasing from 6.02–10.33%.The area of cold spots(> 95% Confidence) was relatively large from 2008 to 2012, mainly on the eastern side, and accounted for 4.51% of the study area.
