Interestingly, we found a marginally significant higher improvement ΔFAOS from preoperative to postoperative FAOS total score 24 months after BMS in patients ≥ 40 years compared to the younger group (12.0 ± 18.6 vs. 26.6 ± 23.9, p = 0.043).
