Our findings revealed a consistent correlation between the RSC group with the steep Trendelenburg position and lung epithelium injury, with higher sRAGE levels in the RSC group on the postoperative day (POD, P=0.007 for POD 1 and P=0.077 for POD 3 [marginal significance]; Table 5 ).
