Internal validation was carried out to assess the predictive ability of the model (I/II stage CCT versus DNT: R 2 Y = 0.915, Q 2 = 0.709; III/IV stage CCT versus DNT: R 2 Y = 0.840, Q 2 = 0.768; CV‐ANOVA p ‐value <0.01), which indicated that the model fitted well and had good predictive ability, and the differences of metabolites between groups within the model were extremely significant.
