The total effect of LWH on the risk of ischemic stroke and hemorrhagic stroke was significant in the male subgroup ( Figure 1 ), 70% of the total effect being indirect for ischemic stroke, whereas 60% of the total effect was direct for hemorrhagic stroke, though this was close to significance.
