The number of offspring of female aphids in each group of three generations showed a decreasing trend initially, followed by an increase, with intergenerational changes, and the trend of Vg expression levels was slightly different, further confirming the close relationship between insect trehalose metabolism and reproduction, as well as the possible role of Vg in other life activities of insects.
